Editorial policy

Every page on SlotConfig follows these rules.

A source for every number

Each RTP, bet range, rule or date on the site comes from a source named on the page: the casino’s game page or lobby, the provider’s game page, or the regulator’s standards. Official and provider sources are linked in each page’s source list. A figure we cannot source is left out, and the page says what is missing.

Sources we do not use

Slot review sites, streamers’ claims, forums and other affiliate pages are not sources of fact here. An RTP repeated across the internet is still unconfirmed for a given casino until that casino’s own page shows it.

Version, casino and date together

We never give a game’s RTP without saying where it was shown and when. A provider’s figure is described as the provider’s figure, and a casino’s as the casino’s. When they differ, both appear.

No systems, no predictions

We do not publish betting systems, “hot” or “due” games, tips for timing spins or claims that a game is about to pay. Slots decide each spin independently, and our pages say so. Where we discuss a session, it is with expected cost, never expected winnings.

No ratings, no invented voices

No ratings, scores, stars, rankings by preference, reviews, testimonials, quotes, experts or surveys that we did not source. The featured casino lists are advertising, not a ranking (see Commission). Pages are written by the SlotConfig Editorial Team.

Careful wording

We do not call a casino licensed or approved in a province unless that province’s own list shows it, and we do not describe any casino or game as safe or trusted. Words such as “high RTP” are always tied to a figure.

Dates

Table rows carry a “Last checked” date, each page shows the date of its oldest fact, and dates in the text are written in full, such as October 20, 2026.

AI tools

Drafts are prepared with the help of AI tools. Before publication, every fact is checked against the source named on the page, and anything that cannot be matched to its source is removed.

Commission

Some casinos pay us commission. Those casinos make up our featured lists, the header button and the bottom bar, and commercial arrangements set their order. The order is not an assessment of the casinos or their games, and it does not change which RTP we report or how a casino appears in a table. See the affiliate disclosure.

Responsible gambling

We never explain how to get around age checks, location checks, Ontario’s slot pace rules or self-exclusion. Help lines and self-exclusion programs are on our responsible gambling page.

Corrections

Reported errors are checked against the casino’s or provider’s page and corrected, with the date updated. Use our contact page.
