SlotConfig
Privacy
SlotConfig has no accounts, sign-up forms, comments or newsletter, and it never asks for personal or payment details. This is everything the site records.
The visit-source label
When you open a page, a script stores a single label in your browser’s session storage, under the key cg_src, saying where the visit came from: chatgpt, perplexity, gemini, copilot, claude, google, bing, ddg, direct or other. The label is taken from the utm_source parameter if the address has one, or else from the referring site. It stays the same as you move between our pages and disappears when you close the tab. It is a category, not an identifier: it holds no address, search terms or question, and it is sent nowhere unless you click a partner link.
Partner link clicks
Partner links, where a page has them, go through an address on our site beginning with /spin/. A click adds the stored label to that address and sends Google Analytics 4 an affiliate_click event with the brand, the page, the position of the link, the source label and the country whose casino list the page showed. The /spin/ address then forwards you to one of the casino’s three tracking links, picked by the source cookie below, or by where you came from when ChatGPT or Gemini links straight to that address, with one extra parameter, the domain of our site. Apart from that domain and which of the three links you followed, nothing about you goes from us to the casino.
The source cookie
If you reach SlotConfig from ChatGPT or Gemini, our server sets a cookie named _s with a two-letter code, cg for ChatGPT and gn for Gemini. It is kept for 30 days and scripts on the page cannot read it. Coming back later from the other assistant replaces the code; a visit from any other place, Google search included, neither sets nor changes the cookie. It matters only when you click a partner link, where it picks one of the casino’s three tracking links: for ChatGPT visits, for Gemini visits, or for every other visit. Your browser settings can delete it.
Your country
Which casinos a list shows depends on the country your connection comes from. When a page with a list opens, your browser asks our server for the country. Cloudflare, our host, reads it from your IP address as the request comes in, and the server returns just a two-letter country code for your browser to pick the list. Neither the code nor your address is stored for this; only a partner link click records which country’s list was on the page.
Analytics
Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity help us see which pages are read and how. Neither loads when a page opens. They load after your first interaction with the page, for example a scroll, a mouse movement, a touch, a click or a key press. Once loaded, they collect usage data and may set cookies under Google’s and Microsoft’s own terms; Clarity records interactions such as clicks and scrolling. No other third-party scripts, fonts or advertising load on SlotConfig.
Why we record the source
The label shows us which channels bring readers who go on to click a partner link, for example a search engine or an AI assistant. That helps us understand which pages answer the questions people bring. It is never combined with anything that would identify you.
What we never see
No casino account data, game history, deposits or payment details pass through this site. We cannot tell if a reader went on to play anywhere.
Hosting
The site is served by Cloudflare, which, like any host, processes the technical data in each request, such as IP address, browser and the page requested, to deliver and protect the site.
Your choices
Block scripts or storage in your browser, use a private window, or close the tab to remove the label. Every page remains readable.
